Rose knew that Mommy was really really angry at Daddy, but not a bad hateful kind of anger. Not like the anger she was used to seeing where she was from. It was a kind of hurt, worried, mommy-kind of anger. She put her hand on her Mommy's arm to let her know that she understood and she was upset at Daddy too.
